Simio Albino

Simio Albino – Guest Mix

Some artists create music to move a dancefloor, while others create spaces for introspection. Simio Albino @simioalbinomusic, the artistic alias of Gustavo Cortes, undoubtedly belongs to the latter.

Born in Mexico City and now based in New York, Simio Albino has been exploring sound since 2002, guided by the belief that music can reshape perception and deepen human experience when approached with intention.

For this special guest mix, Simio Albino takes us into the gravitational space of the universe, where the sounds of silence begin to take shape. A set rich in meaning, unfolding with remarkable fluidity as the music carries us naturally through new and ever-changing atmospheres.

A magical musical journey conceived not simply to be heard, but to be entered — immersive, reflective and deeply connected to the art of listening.

Airing Friday 13 October at 6 pm, with a replay Wednesday 18 October at 6 pm, on Radio Romeo and Juliet @radioromeoandjuliet.

Our sincere thanks to Simio Albino for sharing his musical vision with us and our listeners.
